Michael C. Bartolotti was elected as the county clerk for Putnam County in November 2014. He previously served as First Deputy to County Clerk Dennis Sant since 2002 and also specialized in real estate and general legal matters as an attorney for 12 years.
Jacqueline Esposito was featured in “Families Can Crumble Under Deportation Threat” in The
New York Times in November 2014. She was also a guest on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, speaking as an immigration policy expert on President Obama’s immigration initiative. She is the Founder and Principal of Inspire Group LLC of New York and was previously the Director of Immigration Advocacy for the New York Immigration Coalition.

Susan Cohig ran the New York Marathon in November 2014 in honor of a young stroke victim. She was part of a team sent by Burke Rehabilitation Center of White Plains, New York, to raise money for medical research at Burke. The team is made up of family members and friends of Brad Berman, a Larchmont, New York, resident and former Burke patient who had a stroke in 2013. She is Senior Vice President for Integrated Marketing at the National Hockey League.
Brenda Cooke received the Municipal Affairs Award, presented by the New York City Bar Association to recognize
outstanding achievement as an Officials Association and Chapter Leader of the Bar, one of the top 40
Assistant Corporation Counsel, in June 2014. She is Executive Agency Counsel for Special Projects & Government Affairs at the New York City Department of Correction.
Gregory Gomez was quoted in “Manhattan District Attorney’s Office Showing No Leniency
in Daredevil Cases” in The New York Times in June 2014 and mentioned in “Driver Who
Sped Around Manhattan in 24 Minutes Is Convicted of Reckless Endangerment” in the New York Times in November 2014. He is the Founding Partner of Gomez & Vournas LLC and a trial attorney, specializing in criminal defense litigation.
Ninowtzka Mier was inducted as Present of the Broward County Women Lawyers Association in September 2014. She is a partner at Robinson Pecaro & Mier, P.A. in Davie, Florida, and specializes in insurance defense, personal injury, and immigration.
Gerald Simpkins was named Certification Program Manager, Office of Business Diversity and Civil Rights, at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in December 2014. He previously held the position of Principal Security Analyst for nearly 30 years.
Douglas Singleterry was elected to his second term as North Plainfield, New Jersey’s Borough Council President. He is also counsel at Vasios, Kelly & Strollo, P.A. of Union, N.J., and specializes in civil litigation. Mr. Singleterry previously served as President of the Somerset County Governing
Chair of the former Tri-County Red Cross. He was featured in “North Plainfield Candidate Survey: Council President Douglas Singleterry” in the Alternative Press in October 2014.

He has over 18 years of experience as a forensic scientist. He is also an Instructor in the Program in Criminal Justice with Rutgers University.

Harlan Hollander was named executive director at Cushman & Wakefield in East Rutherford, New Jersey, making him one of the youngest executive directors in New Jersey. The appointment marks his fourth advancement with the commercial real estate services firm, which he joined in 2005 as a corporate advisory and tenant representation specialist. Mr. Hollander consistently
has been one of the office’s top producing brokerage professionals, with involvement in some of
New Jersey’s most significant transactions. For example, he was one of the leading team members in Valeant Pharmaceuticals’ 310,000-square-foot headquarters lease in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
