Richard A. Klass was appointed to the New York State Grievance Committee in July 2015 for the 2nd, 11th, and 13th Judicial Districts for a four-year term.
1993 Lissa J. Ferrell presented “The Art
of Negotiation with Confidence,” in Union, New Jersey, in April 2015. In this presentation, Ferrell shared her basic tricks of give and take in negotiating life’s opportunities.
Charles E. Phillips Jr. was named
Trustee of the New York Public Library in May 2015. Phillips
also received an Honorary Doctor
of Science degree
at the New York City College of Technology in May 2015.
Laura Rossi was named Executive Director of the Westchester Community Foundation in May 2015. Rossi said the Foundation plans to “focus its philanthropic resources to address education and equitable smart growth issues,” and she plans to engage more donors on all of the Foundation’s programs. She joined the Foundation in 2007 and has overseen its grant-making strateg y.

Butler was elected judge to the Queens County Civil Court in November 2015.
Joseph A. Pacello authored a
new book, Tax Compliance and Reporting for Hedge Funds and Their Investors, published by Thomson Reuters in February 2015. The book provides a detailed look at tax compliance and reporting issues for professionals responsible for tax compliance and tax laws impacting hedge funds.

William W. Fahey was named Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Executive Lines for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in October 2015.
Jennifer E. Arangio joined Command Consulting Group, LLC as Principal in May 2015. Arangio will manage Command’s existing Business Advisory Service and Transportation Security practice areas, in addition to offering clients new insight gained from her years in the midst of key Capitol Hill policy and funding battles related to securing the homeland. She is a former senior counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security.
Matthew Barr joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a partner in August 2015. Barr
had been a bankruptcy partner
at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP before joining Weil .

by Hunt Mortgage Group as Managing Director and Head of Transaction Management and Counsel in March 2015.
Laura Ricciardi directed Making a Murderer with Moira Demos,
a 10-part crime series for Netflix. The series follows a single case that involved a man who was convicted and exonerated of a brutal assault, then became the prime suspect in a new crime. The series premiered in December 2015.

Deborah Gonzalez recently had two books published, Managing Online Risks: Apps, Mobile and Social Media Security published by Elsevier, Butterworth-Heinemann, 2014, and Online Security for the Business Traveler published by Elsevier, Butterworth-Heinemann, 2014.
Jonathan D. Rosenbloom joined the University of Oregon School of Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center
as Distinguished Visitor for the Spring 2016 semester.
Michael Slattery joined Berkeley Research Group in October 2015 as Global Senior Advisor to Global Investigations + Strategic Intelligence Practice.

Shari E. Belitz was appointed Chief Marketing Officer by Lex Reporting Service, Inc. in April 2015. Belitz will be responsible for all aspects
of marketing, public relations, and strategy with an enhanced focus on client relationships.
Jacquelyn S. Holden joined Coffey Trial Law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in October 2015. Holden is the past President of Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association and part of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. In addition to being a “Leaders in Law” finalist
in 2014, she has also received the prestigious National Foundation for Women’s Bar Association “Public Service and Outstanding Member Program Award.”
